ABOUT US

Panhandle Perfection Gymnastics is the Florida Panhandle's newest gymnastics facility, featuring a competitive National Gymnastics Association and USA Gymnastics women's artistic team. PPG also competes in men's artistic gymnastics, acro gymnastics and trampoline and tumbling. Despite being relatively new, PPG athletes have won numerous state, regional and national titles in all four disciplines.

In 2019, Panhandle Perfection Gymnastics was the only gym in Florida to win more than one medal at the elite level at a USA Gymnastics-sactioned championship in any discipline (W. Fowler — 2nd Double Mini and 3rd Synchro Trampoline).

Panhandle Perfection Gymnastics has an accomplished staff that is fully trained in providing your child the best gymnastics experience possible. All PPG staff is background checked and has a safety certification through USA Gymnastics.

Alie is in her 26th year of coaching gymnastics. She has been a team coach in three different states, serving as a head team coach for 17 of the past 18 years.

In his her season with Panhandle Perfection, Alie began the club's acro program in 2019 in addition to her artistic coaching duties, landing the club's first national qualifier in that discipline that year. She has coached numerous state and regional medalists on the artistic side in her career.

 

Prior to PPG, Alie was an assistant team coach for World Champions Centre in Spring, Texas, the training home of 2016 Olympic Champion Simone Biles. She worked with a group of Level 7s through elite, coaching multiple state and regional champions and Westerns qualifiers.

Before moving to World Champions Centre, Alie was the owner and operator of Wildcard Gymnastics in Brookfield, Wis. She was the head coach of all levels of the girls' team and assisted with other competitive teams. At its highest, Wildcard had more than 120 team members. She was the coach of numerous state champions and regional qualifiers and medalists.

Alie was also the head coach at Milwaukee Turners in Milwaukee.

Alie has three children, all active in gymnastics. Her oldest, Hallie, 16, is in her sixth season as a Level 10, having qualified to regionals in Level 10 three times previously. Her middle child, Bradyn, 10, is  Level 9 in artistic and is also a competitive T&T and acro athlete. She was state Level 6 tumbling champion in 2015 and a national acro qualifier in Level 7 in 2019. Her youngest, West, 10, competes in both T&T and artistic. He is an elite-level athlete in trampoline and and double mini. He won state all-around titles in both Level 4 and Level 5, state event and regional titles in Level 6 and state event titles in Level 7. In T&T, he has won 13 state titles, eight regional titles and won the Level 7 national trampoline and Level 7 national double mini championship in 2016 and the Level 9 double mini national championship in 2017. In all, he has 41 first-place finishes at USAG state, regional or national events in his five competitive years.

Blain is in his 12th year of coaching gymnastics, having successfully coached all levels and all disciplines of team.

In his third season with Panhandle Perfection, Blain coached the team's lone T&T member to a national championship in Double Mini in Level 9 and to the elite levels on Trampoline and Double Mini. He also coached a men's state floor, vault and parallel bars champion, numerous state medalists in men's and women's artistic and T&T and regional medalists and champions in men's artistic and T&T.

 

Prior to PPG, Blain was the head Trampoline and Tumbling coach at World Champions Centre in Spring, Texas. In the club's first season competing T&T in 2016, all seven WCC athletes qualified to nationals. WCC athletes won five state titles, three regional titles and two USA Gymnastics national titles in his lone season as its head coach. At WCC, Blain also assisted with the girls' and boys' teams, helping guide one of WCC's seven boys' members to a state all-around title.

Before moving to World Champions Centre, Blain was the owner and operator of Wildcard Gymnastics in Brookfield, Wis. He was the assistant coach of both the boys' and girls' teams and started the T&T program. He had multiple state champions and regional medalists in all three programs at Wildcard.

In all, Blain has coached athletes to three T&T national championships and T&T and gymnastics athletes to numerous regional and state medals. He is currently coaching elite level athletes in T&T.

Blain has also served as a Director of Marketing at the University of Wisconsin and a high school athletic director in Wisconsin and an NCAA athletics administrator. He directed the 2003 NCAA Men's Basketball 1st and 2nd Rounds in Milwaukee and was the meet director of the 2013 Wisconsin Level 2 State Championships and 2014 Wisconsin Level 6-10 State Championships. He was named 2014 State Contributor-of-the-Year by Wisconsin USAG.
